February 8, 2025,East China University of Science and Technology Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "East China University of Science and Technology Engineering Institute"), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and Shanghai winray Electromechanical Equipment Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai winray Electromechanical") officially signed the "2025+ Strategic Cooperation Agreement" today. Both parties announced that they will focus on technological collaboration and resource integration, concentrating on four key areas: new energy, new materials, fine chemicals, and food and pharmaceuticals. They aim to establish an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) turnkey service system covering the entire project lifecycle, driving high-quality transformation and upgrading in the industry.

Strong alliance to create a benchmark for EPCM in vertical fields
As a leading enterprise in high-end engineering services in China, East China Institute of Science and Technology Engineering relies on the technical background of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and the scientific research resources of East China University of Science and Technology. It has long been deeply engaged in engineering design and general contracting services in the chemical and energy fields, and has completed more than 100 national key projects. Shanghai Winray Electromechanical has an advantage in the field of electromechanical equipment integration and intelligent engineering. Its independently developed digital construction management platform has been implemented and applied in multiple leading enterprises in the industry. This cooperation marks the transition of the two companies from single business collaboration to strategic ecological integration. According to the agreement, both parties will share technology research and development teams, optimize supply chain resources, and jointly build industry customized EPCM systems, focusing on breaking through engineering technology bottlenecks in areas such as new energy material preparation, biopharmaceutical clean plant construction, and low-carbon chemical process upgrades.

Focusing on industry pain points and empowering customers in four major fields
Driven by the "dual carbon" goal and the demand for industrial upgrading, the demand for efficient, low-carbon, and intelligent engineering services in fields such as new energy and new materials has surged. However, the traditional EPC (Engineering General Contracting) model often faces problems such as insufficient cross disciplinary collaboration and inefficient cost control. The person in charge of East China Institute of Science and Technology Engineering stated at the signing ceremony that the EPCM model can help customers reduce implicit costs by 15% -30% through refined management throughout the entire process. This cooperation will strengthen our capabilities in key areas such as engineering digital delivery and cross-border project resource allocation
Industry analysts believe that this cooperation may reshape the EPCM service standards in segmented fields, providing a new model reference for Chinese high-end engineering service providers to participate in international market competition.
